Thank you for your interest in registering for the 2023 Consumer Culture Theory Conference at Lund University.
This year the conference is an in-person event. At least one author of each accepted work must register for the conference in order for the work to appear in the conference program.
All attendees will be able to participate in conference sessions (see program overview), and enjoy light food and drinks throughout the conference.
Additionally, “Full Conference fee” paying attendees will be able to participate in The Utopian Dinner and The Dystopian Party on the Thursday evening the 29th of June.*
* Note. If you register with the second option, “Conference Fee”, The Utopian Dinner and The Dystopian Party are NOT included in the registration fee. Only ”Full Conference Fee” includes ALL EVENTS. In any case, your formal payment receipt (sent to you as a .pdf attached to a confirmation email) will not disclose what events are, or are not, included in the fee you have paid, only the confirmation email will.
Spectator Day Pass and Plus 1: It's possible for both academics and non-academics to purchase a "Spectator Day Pass" in cases you only want to attend particular days. We also offer the possibility to bring a plus 1 (such as spouse or friend) for The Utopian Dinner or The Dystopic Party. If you want to purchase a daypass or plus 1, please make your inquiry by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Registration rates are in Swedish krona (SEK) and payable via Visa, Mastercard or Bank/Wire Transfer** and are as follows until the 16th of May 11.55 PM CET. A late registration fee of 1 710 SEK (approx. 150€) will be added to the registration options beginning on May 17th 12 am CET, 2023.

Note. The approximate price in € (EUR) is based on historical currency rates of EUR-SEK during the last quarter of 2022 and the first quarter of 2023.
If you are a CCT member you will get a reduced fee. If you want to pay the reduced fee but are not a CCT member and need to become or renew your membership, do so within 24 hours from your registration. For Planning Purposes
For planning purposes (so to avoid food waste etc.), we need to know if you are planning to attend the various social events, even if they are included in your specific registration fee. Therefore, when you register below, you will get questions if you are attending the events or not. Thank you in advance for this.
CCTC Refund Policy
CCTC refund policy approved by board vote electronically September 2018. Requests for a full refund of registration fee will be honored if a written notification of cancellation is received by the CCTC Executive Secretary (email@example.com) 30 days prior to the conference start date (minus a $50.00 processing fee). A 50% refund will be given if a written notification of cancellation is received by the CCTC Executive Secretary (firstname.lastname@example.org) 14 days prior to the conference start date. Request for refunds will not be honored after this time.
Registrants to the conference must agree to foster a conference environment free from discrimination, harassment, and assault, and to abide by the CCTC Statement on Harassment.
